The difference

There are two major differences between the Airwayease MAS and all the other Mandibular Advancement Splints on the market.

1. Longevity

The first major difference is longevity. When Christopher Kelly (the inventor) was designing this device, he was looking for a material that would satisfy a lot of criteria, but the most important quality that the material used to construct the finished product was always going to be longevity and quality. The Airwayease MAS is made to last. The elastomer material is a unique ivocap tm material, the only type of material in its field. The high quality and precise delivery to the mould using the ivocap system and closed flask processing guarantees piece of mind to you the patient. This piece of mind means you can rest assured that the Airwayease MAS will serve you well for years, and not need replacing unless you have changed something about the shape of your teeth. This could be a crown or a filling. in most cases these changes can be ground out of the device without the device suffering. No dimensional change will occur, the material will not change colour or split or chip or break, and all of these things happen to the other materials that the other MAS's are made of without exception.

2. The second difference is adjustability.

Getting the right position for the optimal airway at rest is difficult and even the best in their field can make an error. This is always going to be a problem for the practitioner and the patient because the position is going to need adjustment in a 3d sense because we are all 3d people. So why do all the other advancements splints only offer 2d adjustment?

No matter because now the Airwayease MAS is on the market the problem is solved. What this now means to you the patient, is simply this. You can now invest in a device that can be adjusted easily and with no change in quality through dodgy add hock additions in the surgery.

The base fit to your mouth can remain intact and the components can be changed to affect a 3d change to your jaw posture, and therefore a correct posture is attainable after the device has been made for you. Dentists who have been caught in this most embarrassing situation and patients who have had disappointing results because of this 2d approach will appreciate the new 3d approach to this challenge.

Finally, the challenge of adjustability has been overcome by the Airwayease MAS for the good of both patients and dentists.
