How
it works
The Airwayease MAS
The Airwayease MAS is designed for the one major
purpose of optimising your airway.
It does this by positioning the lower jaw in
a way that is both individual to you and adjustable
when
the need for this adjustment will come along.
Your dentist, ENT, chiropractor, sleep physician,
or GP will all tell you when you need one of
these devices.
These professionals can work together to develop
the appropriate response to your airway needs,
and sometimes that will mean that you will
not be getting
an Airwayease MAS, because it would not help
you, so in you it will not work.
Now you are probably thinking, “did I just
read that they will not give me one and it will not
work for me?” YES YOU DID
The point we are trying to make here is simply
this, these devices do not work for everyone,
and so we do not want people to waste money through
online purchases,
or running off to a dentist and getting one. This would be good for us but
only for the short term and we are here for the
long term.
When a device this good comes onto the market,
it becomes the responsibility of the market
to use it with respect and consideration
for the
problem it is
trying to help, and with respect to the public at large and to the professionals
that are trying to help. If this is achieved, the market
benefits as a result of ethical practices.
In short the Airwayease MAS is only going to
work if the sufferer has had the correct
diagnosis, and this diagnosis
must include
a check-up
with an ENT, a sleep doctor and then, if appropriate, a dentist.
The dentist needs to be able to take upper and lower impressions of your
teeth and gums, as well as a bite record.
The device works by positioning the tongue away
from the soft palate when the patient is
at rest thus the airway is open and the right
amount
of
air is able
to be drawn into the lungs.
This device is also positioned to target patients
who wear CPAP, but who grind their teeth
and need help to keep them from injuring
themselves.
