Orthoplant has been instructed to look for dentists willing to participate in a referral network across Australia.

As the owner of Orthoplant Dental Laboratories, the first licensed laboratory for the production of the three main types of devices for the enhancement of nocturnal airway, Christopher Kelly is proud to introduce to you the Airwayease MAS.

We believe that those dentists already familiar with Bi-maxillary sleep medical devices will find the advantages of the Airwayease MAS to be obvious over and above their current choice of appliance.

The Airwayease MAS is being received very well by patients across Australia.

If you would like to be a participating dentist in this network, so that Orthoplant can refer patients to you via the enquiry network that patients use to look for a local dentist in their area, please indicate your interest by responding via email that your surgery would like to accept referrals from the Orthoplant network.

Orthoplant Dental Lab sent Chris to Sleep 2008 in Baltimore in the USA so that dentists in the USA could see the device and enquire about the Airwayease MAS and what it might be able to provide to patients over and above the current market alternatives.

  • The flexible material that the Airwayease MAS is constructed from- Elastomer from Ivoclar, is a heat cured polymer that will keep its shape under normal care conditions,
  • The unique and patented insert adjustments allow for 3 dimensional changes to the mandibular position if needed. Vertical height change is not possible with other devices
  • Specific bite paradigms using a standard procedure to achieve an individual result for your patient so that their airway problem is treated optimally.

Orthoplant Dental lab has three devices that can be used to treat nocturnal airway restriction in concert with clenching and bruxing habits that usually accompany this problem.
These devices individually assist the dentist to provide relief from nocturnal airway constriction in patients with mild to moderate sleep apnea, who also may be either

  1. Clenchers (Airwayease MAS or Airwayease P.S."posterior support")
  2. Anterior bruxers ( Airwayease MAS "Mandibular Advancement Splint")
  3. Lateral bruxers (Airwayease L"lateral solution")

Orthoplant is making these devices now for dentists looking for answers to this problem for their patients who enquire about oral devices for snoring.

Orthoplant can assist the dentist with choosing the correct device for their patient using standard diagnostic procedures and record taking methods used in dental surgeries.

Lectures on the subject of airway enhancement are planned and those who respond in the affirmative that they would like to receive patient referrals will be on a mailing list for the dates of these lectures.

The lectures will cover;

I. When to provide MAS
II. When not to provide MAS
III. Why different MAS appliances are used
IV. The classification of the different types of clenching and bruxing conditions as they relate to airway
V. How to determine a correctly record the mandibular position for the individual patient using a standard diagnostic procedure

If you would like to be a participating dentist in this network, so that Orthoplant can refer patients to you via the enquiry network that patients use to look for a local dentist in their area, please indicate your interest by responding via email that would like to accept referrals from the Orthoplant network.

If you have a quality lab that you use, then we would like to talk to them.

These labs as well as those dentists who want to participate can contact Orthoplant Dental Lab via email through the web site listed below or to;
