Frequently asked questions
How does the Medicare rebate workWhat is a sleep study?Booking a sleep studyCompleting the sleep studyAfter the sleep studyDelivery and Return of the Sleep Test Kit
When will my kit arrive?
There is a three day window that we ask you to consider when booking the sleep test date. Australia Post can vary on its own delivery guarantee and as such we ask that you are patient when thinking about the expected delivery of the kit to you.
If the kit does not arrive for the appointed day, do I have to reschedule the test night?
No, there is no need to worry about rescheduling the appointment as the appointment is in your home. Please be assured that the kit has been sent to you. If it arrives early, please do the test on the night of the day that the kit arrives. If the kit arrives later than the appointed date, please do the test on the night of the day that you receive the kit. You will have received an email or a text or both with tracking information from Aus Post. Please look for the tracking information and this will help you to plan for the kit arrival.
If the kit has arrived early or late, what are the rules around the return of the kit?
Please return the kit no later than the day after the night you performed the sleep study. As per the agreement you signed, please use the included prepaid Aus Post label to return the kit. Please read the hard copy of this agreement when you receive the kit.
What about return on the weekends?
If you have done the sleep test on a Friday, there is a good chance that the local Post Office is open on Saturday for you to drop the kit off. Please make sure to check your local Post Office hours and return the kit as soon as you are able in line with the agreement you have signed. Aus Post office hours are available on the Aus Post website. If your local post Office is not open on a Saturday, you may return the kit to the Post Office on Monday.
