FAQ (we all need to know)

"Is my out-of-pocket fee of $185.00 eligible for a rebate from Medicare or my health fund?"

Hey there! Just a heads up that Medicare won't cover the $185.00 fee, but depending on your health insurance, there's some potentially good news. The report you'll receive can lead to therapies that address obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and snoring. So, the $185.00 you pay now could come back to you several times over. Without the sleep physician's report, the dental clinic can't legally reimburse you for the therapy they provide. It may feel like a bit of a hit now, but the benefits down the road make it all worth it.

"When will I receive my sleep test results?"

We'll send you and your dental professional (or other professional) the results two weeks after we receive the data from the testing device. It takes time to score and report the results, and then our sleep physician will review the report and add the diagnosis.

"What should I do if my sleep test doesn't go well?"

Hey there! We understand that things don't always go as planned. We take each situation as it comes and we're here to support you. Just make sure to read the test instructions carefully and give it your best shot. Sometimes, things may not turn out perfectly, but as long as we're in good communication and you've done everything we've asked, we'll work together to find the best solution for all of us.
